Since more than 20 years REI is working in North-Eastern area of Italy, in the market sector of passive components for power electronics. In year 2003 the start of the new "Materials" division introduced REI into the thermally conductive materials'market, with the importation, mechanical transformation and distribution of the materials produced by:

• DENKA (Japan: silicone interfaces, greases, phase-change materials, thermally conductive adhesive tapes, thermal putties, insulated-metal-substrates).
• TIMTRONICS (USA: compounds for power electronics, electrical joint compounds, resins, gels, form-in-place gap-fillers).
• GRAFTECH (USA: graphite interfaces).

This continuous research for innovative materials and techniques led, in year 2005, to the start of the commercial cooperation with:

• ARTHE (compressed thermally-conductive ceramic powder technology).
